Description
Cinnamon essential oil is stimulating & energizing. When used in massage it can relieve aching joints after a busy day. It is also calming and reviving and helps supports a healthy digestive system. When used in skincare, cinnamon must be carefully diluted.
Additional information: Cinnamon essential oil is also called Ceylon, Madagascar, Seychelles or True cinnamon.
Processing
Amour Natural’s cinnamon essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the cinnamon tree. The cinnamon leaf yields a more pleasing and delicate aroma than the bark.
Ingredients
100% pure cinnamon essential oil – nothing else is added.
Suggestions for Use
- Mix 5 drops with water to use in an oil burner.
- Mix 1-5 drops with hot water as an inhalation.
- Mix 1-2 drops per 10ml of carrier oil for massage.
- Patch test before use.
Blending Suggestion
Cinnamon essential oil blends well with bergamot, clove, frankincense, ginger, grapefruit, lavender, lemon, sweet orange, rosemary, tea tree and pine
Precautions
- For use on skin, apply a maximum 0.6% dilution.
- Avoid use in the bath.
- Safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, when used within the guidelines.
- Not recommended for children.
- May inhibit blood clotting. May cause drug interactions.
- Patch test before use.
- Do not take internally unless prescribed by a qualified practitioner.
- Keep away from children and eyes.
