Citronella essential oil is an uplifting, antimicrobial oil, rich in citronellol.
It is often diffused outdoors.
Processing
Citronella essential oil is steam distilled from dried, wild-harvested citronella grass.
Ingredients
100% pure citronella essential oil – nothing else is added.
Suggestions for Use
- Blend 6-10 drops and add to a bath.
- Mix 5 drops with water to use in an oil burner.
- Mix 6-10 drops with hot water as an inhalation.
- Mix 5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil for massage.
- Patch test before use.
Blending Suggestion
Citronella essential oil blends well with lemon. bergamot, orange, cedarwood and geranium.
Precautions
- Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Safe for children 5+ years old, when used within the guidelines.
- For use on the skin, dilute up to a maximum of 18.2% essential oil in a carrier oil.
- May be some risk of drug interaction. Patch test before use.
- Do not take internally unless prescribed by a qualified practitioner.
