Description
Coconut oil is a light, non-greasy oil that is easily absorbed. It is rich in fatty acids including lauric, capric, caprylic, palmitic and myristic acids. These acids are anti-microbial and anti-bacterial and rich in antioxidants, as well as good levels of vitamin E, vitamin K and minerals including iron.
Coconut oil soothes skin and supports healthy looking skin tone and is suitable for most skin types, especially those prone to dry, irritated skin.
Comedogenic rating = 2-3.
Extra information: Fractionated coconut oil stays liquid even in very cold temperatures. It also has a very long shelf life. It is a very stable oil, hence why it is used as the base oil for many of Amour Natural’s blends and diluted oils.
