Description

Roman chamomile essential oil is also known as English chamomile, sweet chamomile and garden chamomile. It is rich in the anti-inflammatory compound azulene, and gives a sense of calm and relaxation, which balances mind and body.

When used in skincare, Roman chamomile supports healthy and youthful-looking skin and is suitable for people prone to sensitive skin (it is milder than Blue chamomile). It is anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antibacterial.

Roman chamomile is one of the essential oils in our ‘Sleep Ease’ blend, to relax and soothe for a restful night’s sleep.

It is also suitable for babies and children.

Processing

Roman chamomile essential oil is steam distilled from delicate chamomile flowers.

Ingredients

100% pure Roman chamomile essential oil – nothing else is added.

Suggestions for Use

• Blend 6-10 drops and add to a bath.
• Mix 5 drops with water to use in an oil burner.
• Mix 6-10 drops with hot water as an inhalation.
• Mix 5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil for massage.
• Patch test before use.

Blending Suggestion

Roman Chamomile essential oil blends well with bergamot, lavender, jasmine, tea tree, grapefruit, lemon, geranium, patchouli, rose, geranium and ylang ylang.
