Glucosamine is a compound which occurs naturally in the body, but our natural production of glucosamine may decline as we age. Glucosamine is not readily available in the diet and has become one of the most popular supplements taken by those wishing to stay active as long as possible. Due to new regulations we have had to reformulate our glucosamine as the maximum permitted level has been reduced. Each tablet contains 550mg of glucosamine from glucosamine hydrochloride, the best form of glucosamine. We recommend taking 2 tablets a day. Our complete and improved formula now also contains boswellia, known as Indian frankincense. Boswellia has been used for centuries in natural health practices, including both the Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese systems. Extracted from the resin of the Boswellia serrata tree, it is commonly used in inflammatory conditions.
Why is ours better?
We have chosen a vegetarian and vegan-friendly form of Glucosamine Hydrochloride which is also suitable if you have a crustaceans or shellfish allergy. Our Glucosamine Hydrochloride is a purer and more concentrated form than glucosamine sulphate and, unlike glucosamine sulphate, does not require stabilisation with either potassium chloride or sodium chloride and so does not increase your salt intake. Each tablet contains 550mg glucosamine provided by 662mg Glucosamine HCl. Our improved formula also contains a high level of boswellic acid – 97.5mg boswellic acid from 108mg boswellia per tablet. Boswellia has traditionally been used for joint health in ancient health practices.

How to take
Adults take 1 tablet twice a day with meals. Do not exceed recommended daily intake. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
