Geranium essential oil supports the mind and body during the stresses of life, and offers comforts during times of sadness and anxiety. It is highly therapeutic during the menopause and for PMT / PMS, and makes a wonderful blend with clary sage, rose geranium and ylang ylang.
Geranium is one of the essential oils in our Happiness blend, to uplift your spirits and help you feel positive and keep smiling. In skincare, it promotes the skin’s natural healing and regeneration processes, encouraging sluggish skin. It is safe for use on those prone to irritated, inflamed, and / or sensitive skin.
Processing
Geranium essential oil is steam distilled from the petals of the geranium flower.
Ingredients
100% pure geranium essential oil – nothing else is added.
Suggestions for Use
- Blend 5-10 drops and add to a bath.
- Mix 5-10 drops with water to use in an oil burner.
- Mix 6-10 drops with hot water as an inhalation.
- Patch test before use on the skin.
Blending Suggestion
Geranium essential oil blends well with basil, ylang ylang, lavender, bergamot, cedarwood, clary sage, grapefruit and rosemary.
Precautions
- For use on the skin, dilute up to a maximum of 17.5%. Possible contact dermatitis for those with hypersensitive skin.
- Safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, when used within the guidelines.
- Safe for children, when used within the guidelines.
- Patch test before use.
- Do not take internally unless prescribed. Keep away from children and eyes.
